Rate the faces of these people that don't exist

An artificial intelligence algorithm can create realistic-looking faces of people that don't exist. What do you notice?

Here's the website, just keep pressing refresh:

Here's an example:

I had a hair transplant operation with the clinic of Dr. Emrah Cinik in Istanbul, with 2750 grafts being mostly placed in the front. It was a success both for general aesthetics and general well-being, and I encourage others to do the same.

Seriously though, there's really something off about them.
“Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong." - 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 :christian-cross:

You'd need to find out how many independent degrees of freedom there are in a face.

Probably more than enough.

Can you find the info here:

I quickly read the link. From what I can tell, they are using neural nets to generate the images. The net learns from the data set and progressively generates more realistic images. For my ML class, I am supposed to build a somewhat similar net but the one that does object detection.
