Too lazy to do a full write up yet, but I thought I'd put up a basic timeline of my results up to this point.

Looks nice. You seem to have a good donor. Sadly I can't see how your crown looks.

Jesus fucking Christ, these are AMAZING results! I would kill for such a killer hair transplant. I am planning to get a hair transplant in late 2019 or early 2020. For a long time I considered Erdogan as my go to choice but recently he has very poor results and clinic's support is not great for those with poor results (they just say that results are good even if they are not, or tell you to wait until 18 months post for full results). I am considering going to Dr Keser in Ankara, Turkey. Seen some good results from him and he does everything himself etc and offers free touch ups if he fucks up. I have good donor density (I think) and hope to get somewhere around 1500 or 2000 grafts to get a good hair line.

How many grafts do you have left?

Is your hair loss stable?

They suggested around 6000 after the first procedure, they couldn't be conclusive at before the second procedure about what it would be afterwards but it was likely 2500-3000.

Its been stable for roughly 2 years now after starting 0.25mg finasteride. Prior to that I was moving up a full norwood per year, I would say I'd lost close to 75% of the hair on top within 3 years starting at 19. Its definitely been a wonder drug for me.

Almost exactly 12 months. Also I would say the "bad Erdogan results" thing is vastly overstated by a group of dishonest degenerates looking for a refund on successful or below par but semi-successful procedures, posting their hair in the worst conditions possible to convince people the clinic is bad or acting as if they've hit final results at 6 months in. Most refuse to post photos, and when they do its blatantly obvious they're deliberately trying to make it look worse to stir the pot.

There are about 50 very positive Erdogan results from the past 12 months, about four people complaining. One is at 6 months and refuses to post photos, one is from 2 years ago and clearly had a 90%+ yield but the design is too round which looks a bit unnatural but overall very fixable and the patient can direct the hair line design anyway, one is at 7.5 months and declared his result a failure literally from day one and clearly has mental issues, and another Youtuber Planet Stephen who had below-par growth but the majority grew and its easily fixable. ASMED also do offer free touchups if growth is below 90%.

I do think Keser does more aesthetic hair line work, but he has his share of poor results also plus only does 500 grafts per day, and is about 30% more expensive.

Please be very moderate about a 3rd transplant (if you ever need it) and think about the long game.

You are still very young so dont blow all your grafts on seeking perfection.

Good results by the way.

I do think I'm pretty much done at this point at least within the next 5 years . Even if I lost every other native hair I think it would be about 3k grafts to fully cover that so not particularly concerned with donor issues. I don't expect that to happen however.

I suspect if I wanted to get everything literally "perfect" in its current state by filling every last gap with absolute uniform density to the point where even with wet hair it looked like I had no hairloss it would be about 1500 grafts. I would do it but at this point its not worth the money, certainly vastly diminishing returns beyond this point.

My favourite hair line surgeon is probably Freitas, although he has a waiting list of over a year.

Really depends on your exact case and norwood though. If it's just small hair line refinement Keser might be ideal, if you have significant temple recession and are in the norwood 3 region I'd likely go to Erdogan.

Also depends on if you want FUE or FUT, if you could put up with FUT I'd also consider Rahal and Hasson particularly.

Looks great no question.

6000 grafts on an NW3 should of course also produce excellent end result otherwise the doctor has really f'ed up.
