Is it wise to be on the big 3 before a hair transplant?

Discuss hair transplant techniques (FUE and FUT), surgeons, results, etc.

Maybe i am getting this wrong, but as a hair loss sufferer who wants to undergo a hair transplant, one wants his actual biological alopecia stage treated. Big 3 would mask the real condition and then after a hair transplant, in case one would have to cease Big 3 treatment for whatever reasons (side effects etc.), the results would get wrecked...

If you're going to be on the big 3 after you should be on it before. The transplant surgeon deals with what you have on your head.

Finasteride is also a maintenance drug for most so it should not matter.
The most helpful meal is a happy deal.

Most transplant doctors don't mention this, but you can still bald further even if you use the big 3. That usually happens when your hair loss is too aggressive for it to stop it.

That is a risk... indeed.
