This conversation is taking an interesting turn. I often watch interviews with Timothy Leary and marvel at his quest for spiritual utopia.
But for me, it's the pursuit that matters. And also amount of LSD.

You're dismissing the potential for meaning from sex or drugs, and I'm not sure if I agree that both are always meaningless, forgettable pleasures.

I've done any hard drugs like LSD or mescaline. I know that some who have have argued that they can actually be really meaningful.
i strongly agree. when i get high i relive the past, drown in nostalgia, remember long lost memories, my imagination is stimulated, and i get wolverine senses. ill never stop.

im referring to bragging about getting fucked up for its own sake.

Can we do mushrooms together and you hire some 18 year old amateur prostitutes to root while on it. I’ve never done psychedelics of any kind.

I could arrange this but only if we listen to some boomer era psychedelia.

Meaning isn't simply repeating things that are largely obvious and appeal to a generic crowd or specific demographic, otherwise musicians would resort to just putting Jordan Peterson speeches to music.

Where I live they have a Pokemon day and they have a large park dedicated to the game. I used to think it was strange but I never tried it.

A lot of adults were attending it as well. The park is next to my house. Adults need to have fun to.
