Doubt anyone on this still minor forum has used either.

Since I'm desperate I've considered trying deslo but was waiting for idealforhead to have his source tested.

I was researching yet again how to prevent my skin from becoming oily and I stumbled on this:

Interesting. It's not like my skin is unbearably oily, it's been worse in the past, but man if antihistamines reduce sebum production and are beneficial for hair, I think it would be a good idea for any hair loss sufferer to take it, especially since it's apparently available over the counter.

I have been using desloratadine topically and loratadine orally for a few months now and can report a decrease in itch and also general scalp greasiness. The interesting thing is that when I use Nizoral the greasiness returns so I have stopped using it. Apart from dry eyes which I had anyway due to hay fever there are no sides although I cant say there is much of an improvement in hair, maybe its a little too early to tell.

The only anti histamine treatment I take is hydrocortisone, because I take a high
concentrated amount of Minoxidil. That's it. It comes in 0.1%.
