Been away from the hairloss scene for the most part for a while. Dont get me wrong I still deal with it, even shaved my head again recently. Still hate it.
Wanted to stop in though and get some opinions on my bandmate and I's music. Most of the stuff is fairly low fi produced, which we like and we keep things VERY short. We're also ONLY a bass player and drummer who do it all. Would love some input, good or bad. Thanks

Anyone else have any music stuff they want to share?

Nice trax... good singer, nice tight sound, heavy bass.

I assume you guys have heard the Pixies, no? If not, you have to. You sound a lot like a slightly more hardcore Pixies (great band).

Speaking of the Pixies.. every time "here comes your man" is played on my Spotify shuffle, a little smile appears on my face.
I love that very Beatles sounding intro!

Good stuff!

I'm a sucker for those heavy melodic bass lines. The songs have great lyrics and structures too.

I like "Devil I Know" in the more heavy register. As a pop music fan, "WAVE" is unsurprisingly my favorite. It brings some soothing poppy feels which hint at a possible escape from the nihilism of the genre.

I always hope that some artists of the current metal scene would go for that exit. Hopeful and optimistic metal, now that would be subversive! :D

Swingjob.

Regarding your music:
A line from one of your songs says should I trust my memory in the Google age?
Very relatable line as I often think this when having political debates with my brother, knowing that any dubious sounding comment is easily fact checked once I've gone to bed.

On to the subject of the music itself:
this type of music preserves the dominant white power structure and will surely alienate minorities. For that I can only give you a 2 out of 10.

Maybe try learning some "world music."

The lyrics are definitely very good.

It definitely has a creative sound to it. It's not boring and drawn out like a lot of band these days. It's
not folk music, although some people like that, I need something heavier sounding to give me energy
these days.

@swingline747 , what are you up to these days?
