Tannahill is doing laps in the car park as we speak.
On another note: we should have tried to predict how many holding calls will be in this game.

It's getting hard to watch.
I can't understand why the coaches aren't warming up Tannehill.

The Jaguars responded with a FG. Titans are now done by 2 TDs. I suppose it's possible but there's only 7 1/2 minutes left in the game. It looks like the Jaguars have the win.

Added in 5 minutes 24 seconds:
7 sacks against the Titans and there's still 6 minutes to go.

Damn!! Jags just too good, especially that damn defensive front of theirs.

My prediction of the Titans covering the spread was way off. Time to eat humble pie.

9 sacks against Mariotta. Mariotta's yardage stat looked good at the end but it's misleading. He played poorly. They need to try Tannehill.

9 sacks in a game -- must be close to a record, it was painful to watch.

I can't believe this same Titans team beat the Browns by 30 points.

@Yettee @nameless do you think the New York Giants will beat Tampa Bay with rookie Daniel Jones at quarterback?

The point spread is Giants +6.5.

This is a fun game. Very hard to really call because of course it's the kid's first game and anything can happen... but yeah, I'd take the Giants +6.5. The kid seems talented and good under pressure.

I think that may be more a function of the Browns imploding than anything the Titans did. Lots of Browns penalties and 3 interceptions in the 4th quarter...

Yea I would take the Giants but whatever I think you should bet the opposite in my opinion.

Added in 3 hours 40 minutes 17 seconds:
I think most of the problem with the Titans is coming from their OL. And the reason the Titans beat the Browns is because the Browns didn't know how rotten the Titans' OL is so they didn't hit the Titans' OL as hard as they could. In other words, the Titans got lucky against the Browns.

But now everyone in the NFL-world has gotten the memo that the Titans have a rotten OL. And everyone knows that the path to victory against the Titans is to hit the Titans OL as hard as they can. I don't think I'm going to watch the next Titans game. I don't know how much more of this I can take.

You might be right, I was surprised at how ineffective the Titans offensive line was against the Jaguars on Thursday night.

And Daniel Jones was superb. It's pretty exciting, really. If he has another couple of games like this the GM will be owed apologies from the entire NFL world for picking the kid at #6. At this point he looks like a probable bonafide superstar, which would make it a great pick.

Yay! I saw the highlights and he threw a couple of pin point accuracy passes. He also ran the ball in for two touchdowns himself.

I hope this is the beginning of something but I can't help being cautious at this point.
