The Titans final injury report shows that they will be without Adoree Jackson and Adam Humphries for the upcoming showdown with the Texans. Great!

Added in 7 hours 26 minutes 44 seconds:

When are you guys going to make your picks?

It's a tough week as it's not at all certain how long starters will play.

I'm going to assume that Mahomes will play most of the game to keep his groove and take the CHIEFS -9 (playing at home vs. the CHARGERS)

While I have a little interest in who wins school-wise, I can't get too into it. Too many teams and players.

I get a bit more into college basketball... March Madness

Do you have a college football playoffs favorite?

:)

I'm not really into college ball. It's too slow.

I like the speed of the pros.

In these playoffs I like Clemson but in general I'm a bit of a USC fan. I like the history of the USC Tojans and the fact they play at just about my favorite stadium in the whole world: The L.A. Memorial Coliseum.

Based on this story I'm taking the Titans over the Texans:

https://titansized.com/2019/12/28/texan ... ns-report/

And I'm taking the Chiefs over the San Diego Chargers.

And I'm taking the Ravens over the Steelers.

I'm also predicting that the Titans will go to the playoffs.

Early games:

1. Chargers versus Chiefs - 2 and a half minutes left in the game and the Chiefs are ahead by 10 points. Chiefs likely win this game.

2. Miami ahead of New England 27 to 24 with 24 seconds to go. Miami likely wins this game.

It's official - the Titans beat the Texans. You should be happy. I'm certainly happy. The Titans ended up 9 & 7 so they had a winning season and they are officially the 6th seed of the AFC playoffs. I bet that the Titans would have a winning season and I bet they would go to the playoffs. Obviously, I won those bets.

I'm happy for the Titans but they have to play the Patriots in the first round of the playoffs. This won't be easy.

On a related note: I can't believe the Patriots do not have a first round bye! It's been 10 years since they were last in this position and I really don't know if I can support the Titans over the Patriots as I've always had a soft spot for Brady and the Pats.

Anyway, good luck nameless and your predictions at the start of the year were accurate.

Yes, my prediction (way before the regular season started) that the Titans would go to the playoffs was accurate but the thought didn't cross my mind that they could lose both of their starting cornerbacks by this point in the season. That's very bad for continued success. I still might take the Titans over the Patriots but I'm not 100% sure yet. I want to see if Adoree Jackson becomes healthy or not before I make my pick on that game.

The Titans had an opportunity to improve their secondary dramatically a few weeks ago if they would have simply claimed Janoris Jenkins off waivers but they decided not to do it. It was a stupid decision.

The Titans V Patriots kicks off in about half an hour, @nameless nameless.

Have you got beers to drink while watching? It's still Saturday night in the States, Sunday morning down here.
I'm a bit hungover.

It;s a close game. It could go either way. The Titans defense is soft on the right side. They need to step up.
