Honestly the only non SJW shows ive seen lately have been daredevil and punisher

Everything else has pigeonholed le strong women, non whites, and le evil white men lol

Its cringingly obvious.

They even found a way to force it into the new Halloween movie for fucks sake. This dude was in the car with his dad and he tells him that he doesn't want to go hunting and he just wants to take dance classes. That was literally all that was said during that short little cutscene of them talking lmfao. It's amazing how it's shoved down our throats everywhere at this point

I think that an accelerator of this is that a lot of critics emphasize diversity over narrative, so producers and Hollywood executive know that you get free marketing points with more exaggerated diversity. It's similar to how they add unnecessary action scenes or hire script doctors to add random jokes. Financially, it works, but ideally, narrative, plot, dialogue, characters, etc would be the only things that matter.

The Boys, and in fact the majority of superhero stories, were progressive in their inception so they should be that way moving forward. I'm surprised you'd complain about Supergirl given that it was obviously designed as an inclusive character.

I didn't watch Watchmen.

I watched The Witcher this week. You might enjoy that. No obvious shoehorning. It had a somewhat complicated narrative structure though.

Edited to add: The Boys also makes fun of liberals, SJWs, and progressives, and it does so extensively.

It is a good show. The season finale last night was really good, especially when they killed Storm Front.
The new villain is supposed to be AOC.

I think that the error was in the marketing of it. The film is a critique of the sexual exploitation and conditioning of children, but it came off as something that glamorized it. That's unfair to the original creatives and actors involved, and it's unfair to viewers who want to make an informed decision of what they want to watch. There should be consequences for the marketing team and the people involved.

The ongoing hysteria however is completely irrational and a demonstration of right-wing hypocrisy in this country. They don't give a shit about children or their socialization, and this us ultimately a phoney fight. There is nothing wrong with making a film critical of the exploitation and socialization of children, and doing so requires showing it.

Please god no . No more "progressive"(code for racist against whites and misandrist) stories. Superhero stories are more a red pill on how the world is run by those with superior genes and anything important is just their actions, lol theyre not progressive at all.

And so glad that disgusting (((pedo))) movie cuties was indicted.

It's OK to disagree with someone, but why would you give @Guest-4 a dislike over
a television show evaluation? .

Is that a sensitive topic?

of course a boomer thinks like this lol. You dont even have a passion for this nerdy type stuff nor an interest. Why are you even watching it. I swear i hate how nerdy things were opened up to normies who just watch this stuff carelessly as background noise

And when a REAL fan like myself shows passion or interest you try to crucify us for it lol. I dont criticize you guys for getting emotional over sports, even though its way more pointless and stupid , lol. I just accept you guys have a passion that I don't.

First off, I'm not 56. The youngest a baby boomer can be is 56 (1964). I'm fifty (Generation X). What do you think people
my age watch, The Golf Channel?

I do watch "The Boys". My family, including myself, decided to get rid of Comcast (Cable television) because we don't watch it. My wife has
Amazon Prime, and it is a cool show.

It's not political at all, it's just a satire. Alexandria Cortez is the new villain. It's not a "politcally correct" show though.

Have you ever watched it?

I believe you're the same age as the creators of the comic.

Even though you didnt even address what i said ill humor you lol

"the use of humor, irony, exaggeration, or ridicule to expose and criticize people's stupidity or vices, particularly in the context of contemporary politics and other topical issues"

Straight from googling the definition of "satire" lol

I don't know what you're going on about but I was arguing with your dismissal of me negging someone over a tv show opinion. I find it annoying and stupid how you normie old people criticize that yet you guys dont criticize people getting emotional over fucking football lol

"People with brown shirts throw ball better than people with blue shirts  ". If you're gonna make fun of anyone over getting emotional about something pointless than do it with sports fans lmao.

My comment had nothing to do with the content of the comics or the show or your original comment. I think that’s clear, it also doesn’t quote you.

It's because I'm so old, my nursing home doesn't let me stay up late at night.

Also, I am afraid a football will fly in my face, and my
walking cane break.

This might be surprising, but old people actually do watch television. :o

It's not child pornography. Let's be fair about this. It's not showing children with their clothes
off.
